Mother's Day Tea
Mother’s Day Tea will be held in the New Haven Care Center dinning room on Friday May 9th, 2025 from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm. Sandwiches, chips, drinks, and deserts will be provided.
Nursing Home Week
Monday May 12th, 2025 - Friday May 16th, 2025 is National Nursing Home Week. This is a week-long celebration for the residents and staff of the New Haven Care Center. Themes for each day are as follows:
Monday: Family Vacation
Tuesday: Homecoming
Wednesday: Home for the Holidays
Thursday: Family Picnic
Friday: Down on the Farm
Each day will include special activities, theme appropriate outfits, and theme inspired snacks.
Volunteer Luncheon
Volunteer Luncheon for volunteers of the New Haven Care Center. Lunch will take place in our Assisted Living portion of the building.
Cardinals Game
Resident Field Trip to watch the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Houston Astros at Busch Stadium.
Valentine Day Celebration
Valentines Day Celebration at the New Haven Care Center for residents. Food and drinks provided and announcement of Valentines King and Queen winners.
Christmas Open House
We will be hosting our annual Christmas Open House on Saturday December 14th, 2024, from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM for our residents and their families. Please join your loved ones for food, drink, and a visit from Santa.
Staff Christmas Party
The annual New Have Care Center Staff Christmas Party will be held on Friday December 13th, 2024, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Pass the present will begin at 2:00 PM right after the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. Food and drink will be provided, and staff members will be randomly selected to receive gift cards.
Halloween @ New Haven Care Center
On Halloween night, residents at the New Haven Care Center will be passing out candy to trick or treaters from the community.
Father's Day Luncheon
Father’s Day Luncheon will be held in our dining room which appetizers and beverages served.
Nursing Home Week
The New Haven Care Center is once again celebrating Nursing Home Week. We will have activities for both staff and residents as well as snacks. Daily events are detailed in the resident activity calendar. We encourage everyone to take time to thank our staff members for their continued dedication to our residents.
Community Outreach Dinner
Employees and volunteers of the New Haven Care Center will be providing a barbeque meal @ UCC church in New Haven as part of our continued commitment to our community.
Mothers Day Tea
Families of our female residents are welcomed to join their mothers for tea at our facility. Beverages and finger foods will be provided.
Valentines Day Lunch
Team Leads will dress up and serve a fine-dining lunch to our residents in recognition of Valentines Day. Facility Valentines Day King and Queen will be announced. Valentines Day inspired activities provided throughout the day.
UCC Pancake Super and Mardi Gras Celebration
Some residents will be attending the UCC Pancake Super and those who cannot attend will be provided a pancake supper at New Haven Care Center. Mardi Gras themed activities will be provided during the day.
Super Bowl Party
Resident’s will get to celebrate with gameday snacks the Friday before the Superbowl. Staff are encouraged to wear Kansas City Chiefs apparel on Friday.
Groundhog Day Celebration
Snacks and activities inspired by Groundhog Day provided to the residents.
Trunk or Treat at New Haven Elementary School
The New Haven Care Center will be participating in the Trunk or Treat, located at the New Haven Elementary School. Please bring your kid(s) by to get a goodie bag and to see us.
Christmas in July
Christmas in July, will be held at the New Haven Care Center on July 26th 2023. Residents will participate in some of their favorite Christmas games including (Rob Your Neighbor and Saran Wrap Game) and served a Christmas meal. Staff members are asked to participate by wearing their favorite Christmas sweater.
Beach Bum Day
Staff is encouraged to participate by wearing beach attire. BBQ lunch will be served to staff members. Resident and staff games will follow.
Father’s Day Luncheon
Family members of male residents. Please join us in celebrating Father’s Day by joining us for lunch. Fried chicken, green beans, potato casserole, rolls, and cupcakes will be serverd.
